Brother HL-L3270CDW/MFC-L3750CDW: touchscreen toner reset

Select the replaced colour and capacity on the touchscreen after the Back/Cancel shortcut.

Use this for the listed colour touchscreen models. Reset only a newly replaced toner, even when installing a four-colour pack.

Reset after fitting the new toner

  1. Keep the printer on and open the top toner-access cover with the new cartridge already fitted.
  2. Hold Back/Return and Cancel together for one to two seconds. Release both, then immediately press Back/Return once more.
  3. Select the replaced colour and its capacity on the touchscreen, for example M.TNR-HC for high-yield magenta.
  4. Choose Yes to confirm. When Accepted appears, close the top cover. Repeat only for other new toners fitted at the same time.
