HP ENVY 4520: check print quality and clean cartridges
Print the quality report, then choose cleaning for missing ink or alignment for displaced lines.
1 min readUse the printer’s Tools menu
- Load unused plain white A4 or Letter paper. Check the paper-type setting and that neither cartridge is empty.
- On the printer display, open Tools → Print Quality Report. Inspect the black and colour boxes.
- For missing or streaked ink, use Tools → Clean Cartridges and follow the screen. Compare a fresh report after cleaning.
- For displaced alignment lines, use Tools → Align Printer and follow the display to complete the adjustment.
